Complete Series 1984-2005. 196.
Irish Arts Review. Vols. 1-22. From Vol.1. Spring 1984 to Vol.22 Summer 2005.
Complete series of this wonderful Journal, indispensible to anyone remotely interested
in Irish Art. For the first four years it consisted of 16 quarterly issues, followed
by Annual volumes for the following 14 years and again reverting to quarterly
issues in 2002 which format continues to date. For the past 21 years the Irish
Art Reviews superb reputation has been characterised by the erudite and
scholarly articles, fine illustrations and appropriate content. All of the great
Irish Artists including Jack B. Yeats, Lavery, Orpen, Henry, Roderick OConnor,
Le Brocquy, Hone, Tuohy and Ashford have been the subject of numerous
articles. This Journal, a cornucopia of fine art riches, has been an invaluable
source of knowledge for scholars and collectors over the years. Many of the early
editions are out of print and complete sets rarely come to the market. At any
event the entire collection is here from its initial cover in 1984 of an Irish/Elizabethan
Soldier in his fashionable micro skirt to a scowling William Orpen
